Safety

Active PFC and LLC stage. Hardware voltage and current self-test and a charging strategy designed to protect the battery at every step.

Reliability

One-piece die-cast shell, filled with silicone encapsulant that conducts heat and absorbs shock and ageing. Proven in wet, hot, dusty and high-vibration industrial environments.

Integration

CAN bus, auxiliary power, vehicle charging interlock, external indicator: available functions vary by series and some are optional.

Five protections, always on

Over-temperature
When the internal temperature exceeds the threshold the current is reduced automatically; above 65 °C ambient the charger shuts down and resumes once the temperature is back in range.
Reverse polarity
If the battery is connected the wrong way round the internal circuit disconnects: the charger is not damaged.
No-load
No output voltage when no battery is connected.
Short circuit
On an output short circuit the charger disconnects; charging resumes only after the fault is cleared and the battery is reconnected.
End of charge
Automatic shut-off when the battery is fully charged.
